Our Guiding Philosophy & Principles

Our foundational philosophy is “Empowering communities through sustainability, resilience, and integrity”. This belief is the cornerstone of every decision we make, from our farming methods to our business partnerships. Our principles ensure that our work is not only profitable but also socially and environmentally responsible, creating lasting positive change for our members and the wider community.

Community-Centered Growth

We believe that true growth comes from uplifting and supporting each member of our community. Our business model is designed to create opportunities that benefit all, with our farmers as co-owners and primary beneficiaries. We measure our success not just by financial statements, but by the well-being of our farmers and the strength of our community.

Sustainable Practices

Our commitment to sustainability guides everything we do. We are dedicated to protecting our land and resources through eco-friendly practices such as organic farming principles, responsible water management, and natural pest control. We uphold a “zero-waste philosophy” by utilizing every part of the coconut to maximize resource efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

Resilience in Adversity

Born from the need to rebuild after the Marawi Siege and strengthened by adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic, we possess a resilient spirit. Our journey is a testament to transforming adversity into opportunity, as we have consistently grown and innovated in the face of challenges. We are a beacon of hope for communities rebuilding their lives.

Empowerment through Fair Trade

We are dedicated to promoting fair trade practices, supporting our local farmers and artisans, and ensuring every product benefits both our members and consumers through equitable dealings. As mandated by the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008 (Republic Act 9520), a portion of our net surplus is reinvested into statutory funds, such as the Community Development Fund (CDF) and the Cooperative Education and Training Fund (CETF). This ensures that our financial success directly contributes to social and educational progress within the community.
